About Rachel Lingle, MS, LAMFT

Marriage and raising children can be challenging! I’ve experienced the loneliness of feeling emotionally disconnected from a spouse; I’ve been through the frustration of feeling like a parenting failure!

I’ve been married to the same guy for several decades now, but we’ve navigated some tough life changes. One of our toughest challenges has been  life with a chronic illness.

My faith was tested and stretched  when I received a potentially life-altering diagnosis in my 20s. Over the years I have come to use a wheelchair. This experience allows me to deeply connect with others affected by a medical diagnosis.

I focus on your strengths as I assist you to apply biblical  truth to your  situation. My goal is to help you to change loneliness and dissatisfaction into hope, peace, and contentment.

I counsel using modalities like Relational Life Therapy, narrative therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. My experience includes helping couples, family and individuals with a variety of issues including relational conflict, anxiety, depression, substance use, and grief & loss.

Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.       Galatians  6:2

I earned my Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Medical Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary after receiving a BA in Psychology with a minor in Family & Human Development from Arizona State University. I am certain of God’s call into the ministry and into the counseling profession after years as a homeschooling mom and a career in accounting.
